Paper Roses

I hope you are well stamping friends! One of the very first stamps I fell in love with at Great Impressions was this lovely bouquet of flowers. They are perfect to color or paper piece! This is definitely one of my past favorite cards!

I started with stamping the card base in a light gray ink using the beautiful Queen Ann Lace (E807) image. It gives such a light feathery look. I then decided to paper piece my bouquet which is the lovely Flower Bouquet (J110) image. For my sentiment I inked up just one of the little banners from the Tags (G483) set. Machine sewing and a few butterflies finished it off. I hope you like it! Thanks so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

She leaves a little sparkle...

Morning friends!  Lorie here with you this morning.  Today is a bitter sweet day for me as it is my last post as a design team member with Great Impressions Stamps.  I've truly enjoyed working with their fabulous rubber stamps!  Today I share another blast from the past of a liquid sort...
This is the bottle tag that I made for the Cut Cardstock Challenge.  I really love this tag...it's so fun and cute! The Great Impressions Stamps I've used on this project are:  F323 Fashion Swirls and E880 Sparkle Seriously, who doesn't like the bubble of a Moscato d' Asti wine?

I'd like to thank Mynn the design team coordinator for Great Impressions Stamps, Deone the owner of GIS and my design team sisters.  It's been fun...thanks so much for having me! I hope I've left a little sparkle here on the blog!

Hello Goodbye...

Hi, all!  I'm back today to share my last card using stamps from Great Impressions for the Great Impressions design team.  I went shabby and sweet...or should I say tweet?  Take a peek...

I started by stamping and coloring G111 Roses and Birds with colored pencils. I stamped my sentiment, B152 Hello Friend, onto vellum, then stapled it to the image panel.  A few pearls accent the sentiment vellum for a bit more elegance.

I added this panel to a card base prepped with some patterned paper, a doily, and some pink seam binding ribbon.  I think this turned out beautifully, and I hope you agree!  Please let me know your thoughts in the comments below.

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I want to say another HUGE "thank you" to Deone and the gals here at Great Impressions!  I have been on this team for a few years now, and stepping down is difficult.  I need to take a step back so that I can finish my degree, and I'm grateful that they have been understanding of that.  I hope to see you all around blog land soon, but until then, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Never Give Up!

This is it.  My final post for this term.   This is Julie with you today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers. I have so enjoyed the ride!

For my last post, I decided to share one of the cards I used when I applied for the team.  It uses 2 Great Impressions Stamps that I purchased long ago.  They still bring me great inspiration, and they are still 2 of my all-time favorite stamps from ANY stamp company.

This card features 2 Great Impressions rubber stamps.  They are:  E795 - Tricycle and  A145 - Never Give Up.

I colored E795 - Tricycle with watercolor paints and a very tiny paint brush.

This Tricycle and Never Give Up sentiment inspired me to try out for this design team.  I am so glad I did!  It has been one of the more outstanding creative experiences I have had!  Thanks to Deonne, Mynn, and the whole design team for a wonderful term.

You still have a few days to enter this month's Anything Goes Challenge.  If you haven't yet, what are you waiting for?  And, don't forget to shop in the Great Impressions Stamps store.  You'll find many wonderful stamps that will inspire you.

You're so Very Special to me ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a card that features the Elegant Butterflies (J119) and So Very Special Sentiment (D500), available at Great Impressions Stamps.

For today's card I inked up the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, then used two different shades of pink dye ink on the butterflies and stamped them going up the panel. Next, I applied some Tumbled Distress Ink with a dauber around the butterflies. Final step was to layer the panel on two different shades of pink cardstock, and then my cardbase.

I love working with the Elegant Butterflies. Just by changing the color of the butterflies, you can use the Elegant Butterflies for any season.

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps froGreat Impressions! I hope you will check out and play along with this months Great Impressions Challenge. Remember, if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Father's Day card with you that features the Seaside Lighthouse (G305) and Father's Day Sentiment (C350), available at the Great Impressions Stamps.

This week I pulled out my Copic Markers to color in the lovely Seaside Lighthouse, added some Distress Ink for the sky background, used a yellow color pencil to add the light coming out of the lighthouse, and layered all onto my CAS background. I then stamped the Father's Day Sentiment onto vellum, used some mini glue dots to adhere it over my image, and then added the navy enamel dots to cover the glue dots.

Sweet and Grateful!

Good morning friends!  This is Lorie back for my Great Impressions Stamps post for the week.  This super sweet image is called F635 Dog and Cat Eating Watermelon.  I made this card to be super fun, bright, and cheerful so I used bright colors and, hopefully, made it full of warmth and gratefulness too.
I used a card sketch from SVG Cutting Files to make this card so I just placed my chosen cardstock on my Cameo mat, cut it on my Cameo, cut a couple of more fun elements with some dies and my Big Shot and then put it all together.

Well, that is what I have to share with you today!  Thank you for stopping by and make sure you hop on over to the Great Impressions blog to check out and play along with our current challenge!

Shabby Birdhouse

Hi, all!  I'm back today to share another card I made using stamps from Great Impressions.  I went soft and shabby this time around.  Take a peek...

I started by stamping and heat embossing K12 Floral Birdhouse on some gray cardstock. I fussy cut the image out and then added glitter for more texture and shine.  A few blue pearls accent the image and add some elegance.  A doily and polka dot ribbon tie in the polka dot paper with the image.

Two different polka dot papers and the polka dot ribbon just make me SUPER happy!  I really adore this card--and it's perfect for any occasion.  I hope you like it as much as I do!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below! :)

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Flowers of Summer

Happy Saturday!  Julie O here today with another post.  I love hanging out on the Great Impressions Stamps blog each Saturday!

I hope you are enjoying the last days of spring.  Here in NW Wisconsin where I live, we are just beginning to get some summer heat in our days.  We've barely made it into the 70's and have yet to break 80.  But the heat and humidity are coming -- they always do!

I love many things about summer.  One of my favorite things is the flowers.  I love the bright colors and the endless varieties.

For today's card, I got out my watercolors and a water brush to create a watercolor effect.  Here's how it turned out:

I used 2 Great Impressions rubber stamps on this card, J09 - Garden Flowers, and C366 - Hello Summer.  J09 - Garden Flowers was stamped on a piece of watercolor paper.

I used this month's challenge picture at Great Impressions Stamps for inspiration for this card.

The challenge runs all month, and it's anything goes, so I hope you join us!

Don't forget about all the other wonderful stamps in the Great Impressions Store.  You'll want to check them out!

See you next Saturday!
