Easter Lilies

Hi, friends!  It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to share some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  Since Easter is earlier this year, I'm sharing an elegant Easter card with you today.  Take a peek...

I stamped the image, G452 Easter Lily, and water colored it.  I added some sponging around the edges of the image panel, then distressed it and added some glitter for a bit more texture, too.

To accent the image, I added a bow with a fake flower in the center.  I kept it all pink, wanting to keep my colors simple.

I didn't add a sentiment to this card, because I think that if it doesn't get used at Easter this year, it might be used for a birthday or just because card, too!  I hope you like it, and I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

That's all for me today, friends.  THANK YOU so much for stopping by to take a peek at my card!  I also would love for you to come and join our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer Gallery, too!  Until next time, HUGS and happy stamping, friends! :)

Lucky to Have You ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a friendship card featuring the J123 Heart Flowers and E828 Lucky to Have You Sentiment available at Great Impressions Stamps.

With Valentine's Day over I chose to create a St. Patrick's Day card using part of the lovely J123 Heart Flowers. Using a Marvy #72 Pine Green Watercolor Pen I inked up the bottom portion of the stamp, stamped it on watercolor paper, did a bit of water coloring, and used my circle dies to cut the image out. Next I created my background, added the E828 Lucky to Have You Sentiment, added my 4-Leaf Clover and some enamel dots.

Here's a closer look at the my 4-Leaf Clover and the full version of J123 Heart Flowers ...

That is all for me today. I will be back next week with another project featuring some amazing stamps from Great Impressions! I hope you will check out our current Great Impressions Challenge, and if you use some Great Impressions stamps make sure you link them up in our Customer Gallery!

Until next week ... Enjoy!

Bonfiles Kinda Freak Me Out!

Hello friends!  It is Tuesday so this is Lorie and I'm back to show you a fun and quirky birthday card that I made with a couple of fabulous Great Impressions stamps!
You know how...every now and then you make a card that just makes you giggle?  Well, for me, this is one of those cards!  I'm from Wisconsin so the cow is totally hilarious and the implications that even the cow is a bit afraid of those candles is just too, too funny!  For this card I used Holy Cow E818 and Freak Me Out! E887.  The Freak Me Out! sentiment is actually one piece but I can see myself using it as two separate sentiments so I just cut it apart.  I've used some SU! paper and a card sketch from SVG Cutting Files for the layout.
Can you see how this card made me giggle, a lot?!?  Well, I hope you enjoyed this fun card and it gave you some inspiration!

Thank you so much for stopping by today!  I would love to you to join us for our monthly challenge!  If you use a stamp from the Great Impressions online store, please link it up in our Customer gallery, too!

Sweet Flower Bucket

Hi, friends!  It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to share some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  I  made a CAS nearly one layer card using a fun image and some dry embossing for you today.  Take a peek...

The image, F555 Bucket of Flowers, was stamped directly onto the card base, then colored with colored pencil, and embellished with some Stickles.  I LOVE the whimsy of this image!  All it needed to accent it was a few pink enamel dots!

The sentiment, D459 Sweetest Dreams, was stamped onto vellum, then added to the card base.  The enamel dots that were added to accent the image also help hold the vellum into place, along with the staples added to either side.

To create an anchor for my image, I dry embossed a fun lacy pattern to the bottom of the card base, then added some denim ribbon to hide the embossed top border that doesn't look that nice. ;)  I like the texture that the denim ribbon adds, and I really like the way this card turned out.  I hope you agree--and I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

All Creatures Great & Small

Happy Saturday, fellow crafters!  Julie here today from Muddy Paws & Inky Fingers.  Today, I'm featuring a card that I made with the first Great Impressions stamps I ever purchased, quite a few years ago now.  I loved the stamps then, and I still love them now:

I used the rubber stamp Elephant & Ladybug (F520) on the outside of this card.  I colored the image with Copic markers, then used a variety of sizes of the same Spellbinders die set to create the card base and layers.

Here's the inside:

The inside is stamped with sentiment stamp God Loves (D483).

I just love that elephant and lady bug!  I hope they make you smile, too.

Gracie with Bunny ...

Good morning! Ruza here to share a Birthday card featuring the adorable H252 Gracie with Bunny and B247 Birthday Sentiment available at Great Impressions Stamps.

Today's card was created for my great-niece whose birthday is coming up next month, and this lovely little girl holding her bunny is perfect for her. She was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored up with my Copic Markers. Once done, I trimmed the panel, added the sentiment and popped it on my cardbase with 3D Foam Tape with a pop of pink on the side.

Here's a closer look at the adorable Gracie with Bunny ...

On the inside of the card I stamped the D514 Another Year stamp - - so fun, right?  I added a fun little star as well.  This card just makes me smile and I hope it makes you smile too!

Well Behaved Women?

Hi, friends!  It's Monday, and that means it's time for me to share some inspiration using stamps from the Great Impressions online store!  I chose to go with a fun feminine card with a fabulous sentiment and some butterfly images.  Take a peek...

I stamped the sentiment, F622 Make History, onto vellum, then added it over the top of a panel with the smaller butterflies from the J119 Elegant Butterflies stamp.  I love these colors--I think there's something definitely feminine about them! ;)

I once again went shabby chic, and added a lacy button, gold elastic cording, a glittery red foam heart, and red paper rose to accent my sentiment panel.  I really love the way these embellishments look against the patterned paper. :)

I matted all my panels with some black glitter paper for added texture and shine, and I also added a black doily and some red sequin trim to the top of the card base.  I think that this turned out really fun, and I hope that you agree!  I'd love to hear your thoughts in the comments below!

I used Bunny Peeking (F602) in the center of this step card.  I colored Bunny Peeking with Copic markers.  The sentiment is  Cursive Happy Easter (C430).

Forever Yours

Happy Friday Great Impressions Stamp Friends!

Kendra from Luv 2 Scrap 'n Make Cards here today to share a CAS card with you!!

For my card today I used the fun new G530 Forever Yours stamp!

I sometimes struggle with CAS cards, so I challenged myself to create a clean and simple card with just this background stamp.
I used the stamp to create my own background!

I used pearlescent ink to give the image a little sparkle!
I die cut the bottom of my card with a scallop heart border die to add a little interest!

And finished the card up then by adding some gems and crinkle ribbon!

Today's card was created for my grandson's second Valentine's Day. He loves his puppy and I thought this cute puppy would be perfect for him. Copic Markers were used to color the image, and I popped him inside the Sketchy Rings Die once the DP background was complete.

I continued the design inside and added the sentiment.
